Where It All Began

With love and gratitude, I want to share that this winter marks the final season for Susan’s Sweaters in Colorado. I opened this boutique in 1985 as a 26-year-old fashion student, never imagining how deeply it would become part of my life. Over the years, this shop grew into more than a place to buy sweaters — it became a welcoming space shaped by familiar faces, warm conversations, and timeless knitwear.

A Lifetime of Craft and Care

For decades, I poured my heart into every detail, believing that clothing should feel comforting, well-made, and enduring. Each sweater reflects the care, patience, and craftsmanship that defined my work and my days in the boutique. What started as a small dream slowly turned into a lifelong passion, shared with women who valued quality, warmth, and authenticity.

A Gentle Farewell

Now, at 66, I find myself facing a moment I never imagined would come: it’s time to retire and say goodbye to the boutique I built. As these final weeks unfold, I’m holding One Last Winter Sale, with up to 80% off all handmade sweaters, so every piece can find a home. Thank you for being part of this journey, and for carrying a piece of Susan’s Sweaters with you.
